Clinically Significant Thyroid Metastasis of Lung Cancer: A Rare Case Report

Although thyroid tumors are commonly primary, metastases are extremely rare. We report a rare case of metastatic adenocarcinoma of primary lung origin presenting as a solitary thyroid nodule. A 55-year-old female housewife with no significant past medical history, admitted to our emergency department, complained of anterior neck swelling and dyspnea for one month. Hyperhidrosis (HH) is a pathological condition of excessive secretion of the eccrine sweat glands in amounts greater than that required for physiological needs. Herein, we describe a patient who was treated with autologous blood pleurodesis for ductus thoracicus injury after endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy.
