p-p, p-lambda, and lambda-lambda correlations studied via femtoscopy in pp reactions at √s = 7 TeV

We report on the first femtoscopic measurement of baryon pairs, such as p-p, p-, and , measured by ALICE at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in proton-proton collisions at √s = 7 TeV. This study demonstrates the feasibility of such measurements in pp collisions at ultrarelativistic energies. The femtoscopy method is employed to constrain the hyperon-nucleon and hyperon-hyperon interactions, which are still rather poorly understood. Measurement of Upsilon(1S) Elliptic Flow at Forward Rapidity in Pb-Pb Collisions at sNN = 5.02 TeV

The first measurement of the Υð1SÞ elliptic flow coefficient (v2) is performed at forward rapidity (2.5 < y < 4) in Pb–Pb collisions at sNN 1⁄4 5.02 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The results are obtained with the scalar product method and are reported as a function of transverse momentum (pT ) up to 15 GeV=c in the 5%–60% centrality interval. The measured Upsilon is consistent with 0 and with the small positive values predicted by transport models within uncertainties. Measurement of the production of charm jets tagged with D0 mesons in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV

The production of charm jets in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass √ energy of s = 7 TeV was measured with the ALICE detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. The measurement is based on a data sample corresponding to a total inte- grated luminosity of 6.23nb−1, collected using a minimum-bias trigger. Charm jets are identified by the presence of a D0 meson among their constituents. The D0 mesons are 0−+0 reconstructed from their hadronic decay D →K π . Measurement of jet radial profiles in Pb–Pb collisions at sNN = 2.76 TeV

The jet radial structure and particle transverse momentum (pT) composition within jets are presented in centrality-selected Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV. Track-based jets, which are also called charged jets, were reconstructed with a resolution parameter of R = 0.3 at midrapidity |ηch jet| < 0.6 for transverse momenta pT, ch jet = 30–120 GeV/c. This work presents new constraints on the existence and the binding energy of a possible Λ-Λ bound state, the H-dibaryon, derived from Λ-Λ femtoscopic measurements by the ALICE collaboration. The cross section of jets reconstructed from charged particles is measured in the transverse momentum range of 5 < pT < 100 GeV=c in pp collisions at the center-of-mass energy of s 1⁄4 5.02 TeV with theALICE detector. Measurement of the inclusive isolated photon production cross section in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV

The production cross section of inclusive iso- lated photons has been measured by the ALICE experiment at the CERN LHC in pp collisions at a centre-of-momentum energy of √s = 7 TeV. The measurement is performed with the electromagnetic calorimeter EMCal and the central track- ing detectors, covering a range of |η| < 0.27 in pseudora- pidity and a transverse momentum range of 10 < pTγ < 60 GeV/c.
