BACKGROUND: Fear of pain, which is defined as verbal, physiological, and behavioral responses against potentially painful situations, refers to extreme fear of pain, painful sensation, and anything that may cause this sensation. Bu çalışmada Hemşirelikte Sosyal Sermaye Ölçeğinin Türkçe geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarının yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla metodolojik tipte tasarlanan araştırmada 272 hemşireden toplanan veriler kullanılmıştır. Orijinal ölçek 16 madde ve 3 alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri Kasım – Aralık 2021 tarihleri arasında toplanıp SPSS ve SPSS AMOS programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.
