Amaç: Bu çalışmada bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesindeki kesici ve delici alet yaralanmaları retrospektif olarak incelenmiş ve mevcut durumun tespit edilip konu hakkında sonuç ve önerilere ulaşılması amaçlanmıştır. Yöntemler: Veriler, ilgili tarihlerde kesici ve delici alet yaralanmasına maruz kalmış ve infeksiyon kontrol komitesi birimine başvurmuş olan 124 sağlık çalışanının 18 adet soru içeren bildirim formlarından elde edilmiştir. Background: We aimed to determine the geographical features and seroprevalence of Borrelia burgdorferi in Erzincan, Turkey, which has a high tick population due to its geographical position and climatic conditions. Methods: From January to December 2014, 368 people living in Erzincan, northeastern Turkey were enrolled. Methodology: Eighty-four patients diagnosed with end-stage renal failure who were undergoing hemodialysis and 20 healthy volunteers were enrolled.
