Validity and Reliability Study of Environmental Awareness and Attitude Scale for Preschool Children

The aim of this study is to conduct validity and reliability study of the Environmental Awareness and Attitude Scale for Preschool Children .This study is conducted with 310 children who are having preschool education. At the end of the factor analysis results, there are three factors that explain 44.02% of the total variance in Environmental Attitude subscale. In the Environmental Awareness subscale, 3 factors that explain 40.94% of total variance were found. Effect of Sr and Ti Addition on the Corrosion Behavior of Al-7Si-0.3Mg Alloy

In the present study, the corrosion behaviour of A356 (Al-7Si-0.3Mg) alloy in 3.5% NaCl solution has been evaluated using cyclic/potentiodynamic polarization tests. The alloy was provided in the unmodified form and it was then modified with AlTi5B1 for grain refinement and with AlSr15 for Si modifications. Characterization of the Effect of Melt Treatments on Melt Quality in Al-7wt %Si-Mg Alloys

The effects of degassing, holding time and melt additions (Sr, Sr + Ti, Ti, B and B + Sr) on the quality of A356 melts were examined. A total of 120 reduced pressure test samples were collected. Pores in these samples were analyzed via digital image processing to determine the number density of pores as well as the statistical distribution of their sizes. Results showed that in all cases, degassing with argon reduced the number of defects regardless of the additions made to the melts. Moreover, all additions were found to degrade melt quality. Insight into particle production mechanisms via angular correlations of identified particles in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV

Two-particle angular correlations were mea- sured in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV for pions, kaons, pro- tons, and lambdas, for all particle/anti-particle combinations in the pair. Data for mesons exhibit an expected peak domi- nated by effects associated with mini-jets and are well repro- duced by general purpose Monte Carlo generators. However, for baryon–baryon and anti-baryon–anti-baryon pairs, where both particles have the same baryon number, a near-side anti- correlation structure is observed instead of a peak.
