dc.description.abstractIn this study, structural analysis of auxiliary cylinders which are the most important parts of industrial 300 tons H-type hydraulic press is performed for geometric optimization. For this purpose, linear static analysis of cylinder barrel, cylinder back cover, barrel flange, cylinder piston, cylinder rod, cylinder throat and rod flange of auxiliary cylinder is realized by using finite element method. As a result, maximum Von Misses stress locations, safety factors, maximum deformation results and required optimization locations of cylinders parts are determined via ANSYS Workbench software.en_US
