The automobile industry is a big sector that has experienced some incredible growth technologically every year. Firms use the newest features in the latest models to satisfy the customers. Therefore, there is a fierce struggle to get ahead in terms of competition between companies. But in recent years, the race to prevail as a competition has begun to develop not only with ordinary features in automobiles, but with greater revolution. This development is the fact that the automobiles have become electrically operated. Consequently, automobiles have become electric because of reducing carbon emissions, environmental sensitivity, and energy savings. However, why electric automobile have been preferred by customers over the last few years. Why Mercedes, Bmw, Tesla, Volvo, such as large companies are producing electric automobile. Why these companies are starting to compete about electric automobile. For example, in 2017, the sales of a company that produces electric vehicles such as Tesla have passed through big automobile company such as Mercedes and Bmw in Germany. In this study, prioritization of the criteria for preferring electric automobiles will be deal with by the Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP). Literature review and opinions of experts have been taken to determine criteria that customers consider when buying electric vehicles. Subsequently, AHP questionnaires are sent to decision-makers to gain the relative importance of the relevant criteria. The AHP approach is based on the opinions of the six criteria decision makers. In order to investigate the effectiveness of the methodology developed, the accuracy of the research with sales figures through automotive firms will be proved.
