In today's banking system, scoring (rating) models are used in international standards to define limits for companies in credit allocation processes. Scoring is a process consisting of quantitative and qualitative elements designed as indicators of the default risk of the loan. The rating categories identified in the relevant process provide an important source of information for investors and all other parties, which express an independent judgment to determine the quality and reliability of the investment and investment instrument of the firm. Today, “Participation Banks alan, which are included in the banking system and operate within the framework of their own rules, taking into account Islamic rules, use these scoring models. Participation banks, which have their own specific structure and rules and which have different sensitivities of the parties in fund supply and utilization processes, are expected to have unique scoring models. In this study conducted in depth interview method with different people with different knowledge and experience working in credit allocation department in participation banks, qualitative question techniques used in credit rating system scoring were found to be insufficient for norms of participation banks and solutions were presented.
