Cushing's syndromes (CS) due to thymic carcinoids are rarely seen. In this text, a case with CS due to ectopic adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) secreting atypical thymic carcinoid tumor is presented. A 50-year-old Turkish male patient was admitted to our emergency department with typical CS features. Glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) were coated with a 10-(4H-dithiyeno [3,2-b:2’,3’-d]pyroll-4-il)decan-1-amine (DTP-alkyl-NH2) polymer using an electropolymerization method and the formed interface was used to connect the bacteria and the enzyme to the electrode.
