Validity and Reliability Study of Environmental Awareness and Attitude Scale for Preschool Children

BÜYÜKTAŞKAPU SOYDAN, Sema

The aim of this study is to conduct validity and reliability study of the Environmental Awareness and Attitude Scale for Preschool Children .This study is conducted with 310 children who are having preschool education. At the end of the factor analysis results, there are three factors that explain 44.02% of the total variance in Environmental Attitude subscale. In the Environmental Awareness subscale, 3 factors that explain 40.94% of total variance were found. The correlation coefficients between the factors of the Environmental Awareness subscale were r =.80, .78 and .83 and for the Environme ...Daha fazlası

Production of 4He and 4He in Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV at the LHC

KARASU UYSAL, Ayben | ALICE Collaboration

Results on the production of 4He and 4He nuclei in Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV in the rapidity range | y |< 1, using the ALICE detector, are presented in this paper. The rapidity densities corresponding to 0–10% central events are found to be dN /dy4 He = (0.8 ± 0.4 (stat) ± 0.3 (syst)) × 10−6 and dN /dy4 He = (1.1 ± 0.4 (stat) ± 0.2 (syst)) × 10−6, respectively. This is in agreement with the statistical thermal model expectation assuming the same chemical freeze-out temperature (Tchem = 156 MeV) as for light hadrons. The measured ratio of 4He/4He is 1.4 ± 0.8 (stat) ± 0.5 (syst).

Centrality dependence of the pseudorapidity density distribution for charged particles in Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV

KARASU UYSAL, Ayben | ALICE Collaboration

We present the charged-particle pseudorapidity density in Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV in centrality classes measured by ALICE. The measurement covers a wide pseudorapidity range from −3.5 to 5, which is sufficient for reliable estimates of the total number of charged particles produced in the collisions. For the most central (0–5%) collisions we find 21400±1300, while for the most peripheral (80–90%) we find 230 ± 38. This corresponds to an increase of (27 ± 4)% over the results at √sNN = 2.76 TeV previously reported by ALICE. The energy dependence of the total number of charged partic ...Daha fazlası

Centrality dependence of particle production in p–Pb collisions at √sNN= 5.02 TeV

KARASU UYSAL, Ayben | ALICE Collaboration

We report measurements of the primary charged-particle pseudorapidity density and transverse momentum distributions in p-Pb collisions at sNN=5.02TeV and investigate their correlation with experimental observables sensitive to the centrality of the collision. Centrality classes are defined by using different event-activity estimators, i.e., charged-particle multiplicities measured in three different pseudorapidity regions as well as the energy measured at beam rapidity (zero degree). The procedures to determine the centrality, quantified by the number of participants (Npart) or the number of n ...Daha fazlası

Direct photon production at low transverse momentum in proton–proton collisions at √ s = 2.76 and 8 TeV

KARASU UYSAL, Ayben | ALICE Collaboration

Measurements of inclusive and direct photon production at midrapidity in pp collisions at s=2.76 and 8 TeV are presented by the ALICE experiment at the LHC. The results are reported in transverse momentum ranges of 0.4

Multiplicity dependence of (anti-)deuteron production in pp collisions at s=7TeV

KARASU UYSAL, Ayben | ALICE Collaboration

In this letter, the production of deuterons and anti-deuterons in pp collisions at s=7 TeV is studied as a function of the charged-particle multiplicity density at mid-rapidity with the ALICE detector at the LHC. Production yields are measured at mid-rapidity in five multiplicity classes and as a function of the deuteron transverse momentum (pT). The measurements are discussed in the context of hadron coalescence models. The coalescence parameter B2, extracted from the measured spectra of (anti-)deuterons and primary (anti-)protons, exhibits no significant pT-dependence for pT
