Endüstriyel toplumdan bilgi toplumuna geçiş sürecinde teknoloji ve ekonomi ilişkileri / The relationship between technology and economy during the transition from industrial society to information society

İlk çağlardan günümüz bilgi çağına kadar ekonomi ve teknolojide meydana gelen değişimler etkileşim halindedir. Endüstriyel Devrim, bu etkileşimin en çok dikkate değer bir dönemine karşılık gelmektedir. 18. yüzyıldan bugüne değin teknolojide meydana gelen değişimler, ekonomileri ve toplumsal sistemleri derinden etkilemiş, ulaşım alanından iletişime kadar ekonomi, yönetim ve toplum ilişkilerine ivme kazandırmıştır. 20. Yüzyılın ortalarına gelindiğinde yeni bir teknolojik değişim furyası ortaya çıkarak, başta ekonomi olmak üzere toplumsal sistemler yeniden dönüşmeye başlamıştır. Yeni ekonominin başlangıç dönemlerinden itibaren (1960'lı yıllar) teknik değişimler, toplumsal ve ekonomik değişimleri de temellendirmeye başlamıştır. Mikro düzey teknolojik atılımlar ekonomide yapısal değişiklikler getirmiştir. Şirketlerin uluslararası düzeylerde etkinlik göstermesinden üretimin küresel bir düzeyde yaygınlaşmasına kadar önemli değişimler ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu tezin amacı: Makine devrimiyle ortaya çıkan endüstriyel sistemden bilgi teknolojilerinin hâkim olduğu yeni ekonomiye kadar, ekonomi ve teknoloji ilişkilerini tespit ederek, bu süreçlerde teknolojik değişimlerin belirleyici rolünü ortaya koymaktır.

From the early ages to today's information age, the changes that have taken place in economy and technology are in interaction. The Industrial Revolution corresponds to a most remarkable period of this interaction. The changes in technology from the 18th century to the present day have profoundly influenced economies and social systems and have lent impetus to the relationship between economy, management and society in many aspects from transportation to communication. In the middle of the 20th century, a new trend of technological change emerged and social systems, especially the economy, have began to evolve. Technical changes have begun to base social and economic changes from the beginning of the new economy (1960's). Micro-level technological breakthroughs have made structural changes in the economy. Significant changes have emerged, such as the effectiveness of companies at international level and the widespreading of production by globalization. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between economy and technology from the industrial system emerging from the machine revolution to the new economy where the information technologies are dominant and the decisive role of technological changes in these processes.
