We investigated the effect of insulin therapy on renal damage in experimentally induced diabetic rats. In this study 21 male Sprague-Dawley rats were used. The rats were divided into 3 groups,diabetic (n = 7) , diabetic + insulin therapy (n = 7), and control (n = 7). Statistically significant differences were identified in the evaluation of histopathological findings between all groups.
