Electrochemical glucose biosensing via new generation DTP type conducting polymers/gold nanoparticles/glucose oxidase modified electrodes

AZAK, Hacer | KURBANOĞLU, Sevinç | YILDIZ, Hüseyin Bekir | ÖZKAN, Sibel Ayşıl

The synthesis of derivatives of dithionepyrrole is a hot subject that has been studied extensively. In this study, a novel approach for constructing different glucose biosensors using conducting polymers of 4-(4H-dithyinol[3,2-b:2′,3′-d]pyroll-4-yl)aniline and 4-(4H-dithyinol[3,2-b:2′,3′-d]pyroll-4-yl)-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-amine is proposed. After the synthesis and characterizations of the dithionepyrrole type monomers, they were used in glucose biosensing applications. The surface of gold electrode was modified with mercaptoethane sulfonic acid and p-aminothiophenol functionalized gold nanoparti ...Daha fazlası

Novel amperometric xanthine biosensor based on xanthine oxidase immobilized on electrochemically polymerized 10-[4H-dithieno(3,2-b:2′,3′-d)pyrrole-4-yl]decane-1-amine film

DERVISEVIC, Muamer | DERVISEVIC, Esma | AZAK, Hacer | ÇEVİK, Emre | ŞENEL, Mehmet | YILDIZ, Hüseyin Bekir

In this paper, a novel amperometric xanthine (X) biosensor is constructed by xanthine oxidase (XOx) immobilization on the pencil graphite electrode (PGE). Xanthine oxidase is immobilized using glutaraldehyde (GA) on the electrochemically polymerized conducting polymer film. The detection of xanthine is based on its consumed amount due to the enzymatic reaction of xanthine oxidase. The effects of polymer thickness, applied potential, pH, and temperature were investigated and optimum parameters were found to be five cycles, +5 V, +0.5 V and 30 °C, respectively. Storage stability, operation stabi ...Daha fazlası

MIPs and Aptamers for Recognition of Proteins in Biomimetic Sensing

MENGER, Marcus | YARMAN, Aysu | ERDŐSSY, Júlia | YILDIZ, Hüseyin Bekir | GYURCSÁNYI, Róbert Ervin | SCHELLER, Frieder Wolfram

Biomimetic binders and catalysts have been generated in order to substitute the biological pendants in separation techniques and bioanalysis. The two major approaches use either "evolution in the test tube" of nucleotides for the preparation of aptamers or total chemical synthesis for molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs). The reproducible production of aptamers is a clear advantage, whilst the preparation of MIPs typically leads to a population of polymers with different binding sites. The realization of binding sites in the total bulk of the MIPs results in a higher binding capacity, however ...Daha fazlası

Folic-Acid-Modified Conducting Polymer: Electrochemical Detection of the Cell Attachment.

AZAK, Hacer | BARLAS, Fırat Barış | YILDIZ, Hüseyin Bekir | GÜLEÇ, Kadri | DEMİR, Bilal | ODACI DEMİRKOL, Dilek | TİMUR, Suna

Here, postfunctionalization and bioapplication of a π-conjugated polymer named 4-[4H-dithieno(3,2-b:2',3'-d)pyrrol-4-yl]aniline (DTP-aryl-NH2 ) are reported, which is successfully synthesized via electropolymerization onto the glassy carbon electrode. Folic acid (FA) is used to modify the amino functional polymer via N-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-N'-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride/N-hydroxysuccinimide chemistry for the further steps. The selective adhesion of folate receptor positive cells on the surface is followed by the electrochemical methods. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance s ...Daha fazlası
