Effect of 3’-4’-dihydroxyflavonol on lipid per oxidation inexperimental renal ischemia-reperfusion in rats

This study aimed to examine the affects of 3’-4’-dihydroxyflavonol (DiOHF) on lipid peroxidation in experimental renal ischemia-reperfusion. The research was conducted on Wistar-albino type male rat. The experimental groups were formed as 1.Control; 2.Sham; 3.Ischemia; 4.Ischemia+reperfusion; 5.DiOHF+Ischemia; 6.Ischemia+ DiOHF + reperfusion. The highest tissue glutathione levels were found in groups 5 and 6. Groups 1 and 2, which were control and sham groups respectively, had the lowest tissue GSH values. Inclusive J/ψ production has been studied with the ALICE detector in p-Pb collisions at the nucleon–nucleon center of mass energy √sNN = 5.02TeV at the CERN LHC. Pion–kaon femtoscopy and the lifetime of the hadronic phase in Pb−Pb collisions at √ sNN = 2.76 TeV

In this paper, the first femtoscopic analysis of pion–kaon correlations at the LHC is reported. The analysis was performed on the Pb–Pb collision data at √sNN = 2.76 TeV recorded with the ALICE detector. The non-identical particle correlations probe the spatio-temporal separation between sources of different particle species as well as the average source size of the emitting system. The sizes of the pion and kaon sources increase with centrality, and pions are emitted closer to the centre of the system and/or later than kaons. Centrality, rapidity and transverse momentum dependence of J/ψ suppression in Pb–Pb collisions at sNN = 2.76 TeV

he inclusive J/ψ nuclear modification factor (RAA) in Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV has been measured by ALICE as a function of centrality in the e+e− decay channel at mid-rapidity (|y| < 0.8) and as a function of centrality, transverse momentum and rapidity in the μ+μ− decay channel at forward-rapidity (2.5 < y < 4). The J/ψ yields measured in Pb–Pb are suppressed compared to those in pp collisions scaled by the number of binary collisions. Measurement of prompt D-meson production in p–Pb collisions at √ sNN = 5 .02 TeV

The pT-differential production cross sections of the prompt charmed mesons D0, Dþ, D þ, and Dþs and center-of-mass energy sNN 1⁄4 5.02 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The nuclear modification factor RpPb, quantifying the D-meson yield in p-Pb collisions relative to the yield in pp collisions scaled by the number of binary nucleon-nucleon collisions, is compatible within the 15%–20% uncertainties with unity in the transverse momentum interval 1 < pT < 24 GeV=c. Pseudorapidity and transverse-momentum distributions of charged particles in proton–proton collisions at √s = 13 TeV

The pseudorapidity (η) and transverse-momentum (pT) distributions of charged particles produced in proton–proton collisions are measured at the centre-of-mass energy √s = 13 TeV. The pseudorapidity distribution in |η| < 1.8 is reported for inelastic events and for events with at least one charged particle in |η| < 1. The pseudorapidity density of charged particles produced in the pseudorapidity region |η| < 0.5 is 5.31 ± 0.18 and 6.46 ± 0.19 for the two event classes, respectively. Transverse momentum dependence of inclusive primary charged-particle production in p–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV

The transverse momentum ( pT ) distribution of primary charged particles is measured at midrapidity in minimum-bias p–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC in the range 0.15 < pT < 50 GeV/c. The spectra are compared to the expectation based on binary collision scaling of particle production in pp colli- sions, leading to a nuclear modification factor consistent with unity for pT larger than 2 GeV/c, with a weak indication of a Cronin-like enhancement for pT around 4 GeV/c. Meandering pulmonary vein (MPV) is a rarely seen pulmonary vascular anomaly and confused with the scimitar syndrome which is more commonly seen. In this paper, we presented a case of left MPV which mimes arteriovenous malformation. A 30-year-old man was referred to our clinic for pulmonary nodule detected in routine evaluation before employment examination. Diagnosis of MPV was made by Pulmonary CT angiography.
