We report on two-particle charge-dependent correlations in pp, p-Pb, and Pb-Pb collisions as a function of the pseudorapidity and azimuthal angle difference, Δη and Δφ respectively. These correlations are studied using the balance function that probes the charge creation time and the development of collectivity in the produced system. Biomimetic binders and catalysts have been generated in order to substitute the biological pendants in separation techniques and bioanalysis. The two major approaches use either "evolution in the test tube" of nucleotides for the preparation of aptamers or total chemical synthesis for molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs). The neoclassical canons were used to define the proportions between various areas of the head and face. Therefore, this study was done to establish the neoclassical canons of facial proportions in Turkish adults. A total of 200 healthy adults 20 to 35 years of age were examined. Using anthropometric landmarks, 5 horizontal and 9 vertical direct measurements were made on the faces with a sliding calliper. Results have been compared with 8 neoclassical facial canons. Here, postfunctionalization and bioapplication of a π-conjugated polymer named 4-[4H-dithieno(3,2-b:2',3'-d)pyrrol-4-yl]aniline (DTP-aryl-NH2 ) are reported, which is successfully synthesized via electropolymerization onto the glassy carbon electrode. The elliptic flow, v2, of muons from heavy-flavour hadron decays at forward rapidity (2.5 < y < 4) is measured in Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The scalar product, two- and four-particle Q cumulants and Lee–Yang zeros methods are used. We report on the measurement of freeze-out radii for pairs of identical-charge pions measured in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV as a function of collision centrality and the average transverse momentum of the pair kT. Three-dimensional sizes of the system (femtoscopic radii), as well as direction-averaged one- dimensional radii are extracted. The radii decrease with kT, following a power-law behavior. We present results of a search for two hypothetical strange dibaryon states, i.e. the H-dibaryon and the possible !n bound state. The search is performed with the ALICE detector in central (0–10%) Pb– Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV, by invariant mass analysis in the decay modes !n → dπ+ and Hdibaryon → !pπ−. No evidence for these bound states is observed. Upper limits are determined at 99% confidence level for a wide range of lifetimes and for the full range of branching ratios. The inclusive production of the ψ(2S) charmonium state was studied as a function of centrality in p-Pb collisions at the nucleon-nucleon center of mass energy √sNN = 5.02 TeV at the CERN LHC. The measurement was performed with the ALICE detec- tor in the center of mass rapidity ranges −4.46 < ycms < −2.96 and 2.03 < ycms < 3.53, down to zero transverse momentum, by reconstructing the ψ(2S) decay to a muon pair.
