(Anti) Hypertriton lifetime measurement in Pb–Pb collisions at sNN = 5.02 TeV via two-body decay

Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV collected by the ALICE experiment at the LHC. The (anti-)hypertriton has been reconstructed via its charged two-body mesonic decay channel and the lifetime has been determined from an exponential fit to the dN/d(ct) spectrum. The measured value, τ = 242+34 (stat.) ± −38 17 (syst.) ps, is compatible with representative theoretical predictions, thus contributing to the solution of the longstanding hypertriton lifetime puzzle.

Azimuthal Anisotropy of Heavy-Flavor Decay Electrons in p-Pb Collisions at sNN = 5.02 TeV

Angular correlations between heavy-flavor decay electrons and charged particles at midrapidity pffiffiffiffiffiffiffi (jηj < 0.8) are measured in p-Pb collisions at sNN 1⁄4 5.02 TeV. The analysis is carried out for the 0%–20% (high) and 60%–100% (low) multiplicity ranges. The jet contribution in the correlation distribution from high-multiplicity events is removed by subtracting the distribution from low-multiplicity events. BACKGROUND: The present study was designed to compare the effectiveness of topical silver sulfadiazine (SSD) and Ankaferd Blood Stopper® (ABS) usage in experimental partial-thickness burns in rats. Constraining production models with light (anti-)nuclei measurements in small systems with ALICE at the LHC

The production of deuterons and anti-deuterons in pp collisions at root s = 7 and 13 TeV has been studied as a function of charged-particle multiplicity using the ALICE detector at the LHC. The preliminary results are shown here, together with those obtained in heavy-ion collisions. They are presented by focusing the discussion on the comparison with expectations from hadron-coalescence models.
