Psycho-social Factors that Lead to Heroin Addiction among Young Males in Turkey

Heroin has become a subject of growing concern in Turkey due to the rapid increase among young adults using and becoming addicted to it. Thus, the purpose of this qualitative study is to identify the psycho-social factors that lead to heroin addiction in young males based on their life experiences. The sample consists of 18 young males (aged 18-24) who have been diagnosed with heroin addiction and are currently receiving inpatient treatment for substance use disorder. The Mediator Role of Ethical Values and Behavior which is Affected by Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Employee Empowerment

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of employee empowerment on organizational citizenship behavior and the role of ethical values and behavior in terms of this impact. This research was applied to a sample of group of 195 persons, working in two leader companies in the textile industry, located in the province of Isparta in Turkey. In the inquiry, it has been concluded that the employee empowerment affects the organizational citizenship behavior by the full mediation of ethical value and behavior.
