Bilgi teknolojilerinin kurumlarda örgütsel performans üzerindeki etkileri ve Konya meslek odaları araştırması / The effects of information technologies on organizational performance in institutions and the research on chambers of profession of Konya

Bu çalışmanın konusunu, bilgi yönetim süreçleri çerçevesinde bilgi teknolojilerinin, örgüt yapısı ve örgütsel performans üzerindeki etkileridir. Bilgi ve bilgi teknolojilerinin işletmelere sunduğu kolaylıklar ve imkânlar bu çalışmanın ana temasını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada bilgi teknolojileri konusunda nitelikli altyapı bileşenleri tüm yönleriyle incelenerek, işletmelerin rekabet gücü üzerinde sahip olduğu önemin ortaya koyulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda çalışmada, örgüt yapısı, örgüt kültürü ve performans kavramları detaylıca incelenerek, bilişim teknolojilerinin etkileri analiz edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte bilginin elde edilmesi süreci ve bu sürecin örgüt kültürü üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak nitel veri toplama tekniği olan derinlemesine mülakat yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmalar Konya ilinde bulunan Konya Sanayi Odası, Konya Ticaret Borsası ve Konya Ticaret Odasında yapılmış olup, araştırmalar mülakatlar ile desteklenmiştir. Araştırmalar neticesinde örgüt performansını etkileyen bilgiye ulaşma teknikleri esasında bilgi teknolojileri altyapılarının eksikleri tespit edilmiştir. Bu eksikliklerin temelinde yatan, sahip olunan bilginin işlenmesi, depolanması ve dağıtılması konusunda ki problemleri giderecek çözüm süreçlerine de yer verilen bu çalışma da nitelikli işgücü algısına da dikkat çekilmektedir. Nitelikli işgücü algısı bilişim teknolojileri açısından değerlendirilerek örgüt performansları üzerindeki etkileri analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca bu çalışmada tespit edilen sorunlar ve eksiklikler çerçevesinde süreci olumlu etkileyecek faktörler derinlemesine araştırılmıştır.

The subject of this study is the organizational structure of information technologies within the framework of information management processes and its effects on organisational performance. Conveniences and opportunities that are offered by the information and information technologies form the main topic of this study. The study aims to reveal the importance of the competitive power of businesses by examining qualified infrastructure components in information tecnologies in all aspects. In this context, the impact of information technologies are analyzed by examining deeply the organisational structure, organisation culture and performance concept. Besides, the process of receiving information and the impact of this process on organisation culture is investigated. The data in the study is collected by a qualitative method, in-depth interview technique. The research is conducted in Konya Chamber of Industry, Konya Commodity Exchange and Konya Chamber of Commerce and supported with interviews. The research shows that during the process of accessing information, which affects the organisational performance, the deficiencies in information technologies infrasctructures are determined. Underlying these deficiencies, problems about processing, storing and disseminating of the existing information and solutions for these problems are offered in the study and the study also highlights the perception of qualified workforce. The impact of the perception of qualified workforce on organisational performance is analyzed from the point of information technologies. Furthermore, the factors which will influence the process positively are examined in detail within the frame of the deficiencies and problems defined in the study.
